I think I will preface most daily posts with the following statement just for the newbies....

The purpose of this website is to bring together (seemingly) legit, work at home jobs to one location. I find many people don't know how to search the net for these REAL jobs that do exist, so I'm taking this opportunity to find them and share with you. Please read each job description carefully. Some do require that you live within a commutable distance of certain cities, etc; however other jobs are 100% virtual, telecommute, work at home.

ALWAYS run from "jobs" that ask you to pay money first. The only reason you should pay money for anything is when you get a product or service in return. People that they expect others to "pay" an upfront fee to weed out those that aren't serious, are trying to do two things, one: they are trying to take your money and two: they are being too lazy to screen for good candidates.

Part-Time Opportunity for Teachers

SkoolPad is a content-rich social platform for education that collaboratively forms communities of educational institutions, teachers, parents, and students. We are building a teacher only social network and an online market place where teachers can come and sell and buy classroom content on a per content basis or by monthly subscriptions. We are planning to go live online with our Social platform in a month, and we want to get the first 5000 teachers in our site with wide variety of educational content uploaded on to our site. Teachers can upload content for sale or for sharing it free (up to your choice).

We are looking for teachers from various grades and subjects, who have a good repository of the content types below and can upload the following artifacts into our SkoolPad content library, as soon as we start this activity -
* Lesson plans
* Worksheets
* Quizzes with answers
* Presentations
* Self-made educational/classroom videos
* Audio podcasts
* Rubrics
* HTML5 Games
* Assignments

The teachers will tag appropriate content and categorize the content under the relevant subjects and grades. This is a work from home opportunity with virtual or in-person meetings weekly to discuss the progress of the work.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in US Elementary, Middle or High school.
Should posses a library of lesson plans, worksheets, Quizzes with answers, presentations, self made educational/classroom videos, audio podcasts, pictures etc.. and can be immediately uploaded to our library
Expertise in creating and delivering classroom content according to Common Core Standards.
Good understanding of Digital Copyright laws

This activity will start August 3rd week. After we have the first 5000 teachers, the online market place will go live, and teachers would be using the online marketplace to sell and buy content.

Remuneration options

1) Teachers get paid per content uploaded (depending on the content type) , and once we buy the content, Skoolpad owns the right to the content and we would sell it through our online market place
2) Teachers can upload their own content and publish their content for free or set a price for sale.
3) For the first 50 teachers, we also plan to give promotional gifts for joining the site, uploading content as well as referring 5 other teachers to join our site. When referring, please send us the details of people whom you have referred, so that we can check the referrals and respond back with your promotional gifts
