The Dealer Loan Underwriter will be responsible for reviewing credit applications for loans to determine credit worthiness, ensuring that all loans are within current credit policy and regulations. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, lending regulations and internal policies and procedures. Provide accurate pricing and terms to dealerships. Ensure friendly, courteous and efficient services are provided. Work independently and as a team member in decision-making and sound judgment in resolving problems.
Minimum of two years underwriting experience. Prefer dealer loan underwriting experience in a credit union environment. Prefer familiarity with CUDL and Dealer Track program desired. Proficiency with standard office equipment, lending software, spreadsheets, Outlook, and word processing. Some travel is required to complete credit union training and business objectives.
